Ecosystem Mapping.
The structural synthesis engine. Automating the connectivity between tactical work units and technical infrastructure through Knowledge Graph synthesis.
The Knowledge Graph Protocol
Traditional project management treats tasks as isolated strings of text. 2asana’s Mapping Engine treats them as Registry Nodes. By synthesizing task narratives with the **Infrastructure Hub**, the engine builds a dynamic Knowledge Graph that identifies how a single bug fix might impact a Stripe Data Source or a Checkout Ingestion Pipeline.
"The mapping engine ensures that project health is never evaluated in a vacuum. Every task has a lineage, and every deadline has a technical cost."
Multi-Vector Discovery
Signal Discovery
AI scans task titles and descriptions to identify 'Strategic Signals' (Tags). This creates the primary classification layer. If a task mentions 'attribution mismatch,' the engine automatically injects the 'Logic: Data Attribution' signal tag into the inference queue.
Infrastructure Alignment
Uses signal tags and NLU context to map tasks to the Infrastructure Hub. It identifies which Managed Tools feed a task or which Transformation Models are the intended output of a sprint. This tier builds the 'Technical Debt' visibility markers.
Entity discovery
The most advanced tier. During the processing of raw Operational Pulses (e.g. from Slack), the engine identifies mentioned actors, tools, or vendors that do NOT exist in the current registry. It surfaces these as 'Discovered Entities' for one-click registry initialization.
The Anatomy of a Mapping
HITL Governance
To prevent "Registry Pollution," 2asana does not auto-link assets in production. Instead, every inference is queued in the **Inference Portal**.
1. discovery
AI workers identify potential mappings during the daily narrative harvest pass.
2. isolation
Suggestions are staged in the Inference Portal, clearly labeled by their confidence score.
3. commitment
Administrator validates or refines the link, committing it permanently to the project registry.
Scale your Infrastructure Identity.
The more assets you map, the more precise the EPS Protocol becomes.
